Hi my name is lizzy, unfortunately I dont live in the Dallas Area, let alone not even in TX. I joined this community because it was the only one I could find on LJ that was geared towards what I am seeking. While I'm not a TG or even a TS, I have a friend who is in the process of Become a TG. I'm documenting her "journey" of becoming a MtF, it is my way of educating not only myself as well as helping myself adjust to her decision of becoming a he better, but hopefully to help educate others who are not of the TG/TS minded community become aware of A TG/TS journey and life during becoming as such. Well at anyrate I hope I am not becoming offensive or anything. I just really wanted to become more educated about the whole thing really. Could you please help me in this ? please?

Obligiatory intro post.
Hi. I'm a longtime LJer and lurker, and finally created an account to join those communities that I couldn't otherwise. My name is Alexis, I'm a 31 year old bbw, married to a woman, bisexual, and I live in Denton. I've only recently come to terms with being tg (mtf), and haven't really had much support from the very few ppl I've told. Hopefully in time, I'll be free to go full time and transition. But in the meantime, I just crossdress when I get the chance :) . I'm glad to see a community like this, I hope to see it continuing to grow. If you want to contact me, comment on my journal, I'll contact you from there. Thanks, bi!

I have been unable to log on for a while, because of having no electricity. But I am back now, and watching over the group. Maybe we'll see some people around here soon..

finally people are at least using this community! (even though one of them is for pluging a bumper sticker product, lol). I hope more and more people eventually find this community!

just wanted to put in a post, as i too have found it very difficult to meet other cd's in the dallas other. my name is emma, i'm 23, and live in garland. i've been crossdressing for about thirteen years, and it's only recently that i've had the guts to tell one of my gg friends about it. a few weeks ago we got the chance to take some pictures, and, since i've told her, i've felt a lot less guilty about doing it. i guess you could say that i've been bi-curious for most of my life, and i wouldn't mind being in a relationship with another t-girl. my interests are pretty basic: music (the cure, cocteau twins, suede, pulp, etc.), reading, and british comedies. anyways, if anyone would like to chat sometime, you can drop me a line at email@example.com. ta!

time will tell
I am hoping that over time, people will stumble across this community and start using it to communicate.

I live in Addison (Dallas area) Texas. I am 21. Consider myself transgendered, possibly fully transexual. I am looking for other trans-girls, for friendship/peers and for relationships. Sex is of course, also something I'd gladly take part in. Not much else to say for now. Contact me on aim: lotusboy101 or on yahooIM: lotusboy_101

I am hoping this group will make it easier for trans-people in the Dallas area to meet and get support or even a relationship. I myself have had a hard time finding any trans-people because I don't go to any help groups or hang out in clubs that trans-people frequent. I wouldn't even know which club is the one they like to attend!
Anyway, use this group to find peers, lovers, whatever, just don't be rude or mean. Don't E-stalk anyone. Don't spew cheesy pickup lines, or anything like that. I suggest posting a first post that explains what you are looking for (friends, love, sex, etc.) and with what gender, and all of that. Also state how you want people to contact you if you do want people to.
Here's hoping for a good start of this group! :)
